A first vZome model explains the construction. Consider an inner rhombicosidodecahedron (magenta), concentric with an outer rhombitruncated icosahedron (teal). An icosidodecahedron (green) intersects the rhombitruncated icosahedron along a decagonal face. The inner half of the icosidodecahedron (a pentagonal rotunda, Johnson solid J6) touches the rhombicosidodecahedron along one its pentagonal faces.
The second vZome model presents the Zometool building instructions, using standard red coloured b0 struts, and starting from a rhombicosidodecahedron.
This Zometool model is easier to build than its Geomag counterpart. However, due to the lack of panels, it is aesthetically inferior.
Therefore triangular, square, pentagonal and hexagonal panels have been designed and 3D printed. These panels could easily be inserted after the completion of the skeleton.
