This Zometool model of the projection has only pyritohedric symmetry, despite the full hexacosichoric symmetry of the compound of 15 Hexadecachora itself (Paulo Freire). It has only 4 genuine three-fold rotational symmetry axes, 6 triagonal ghost symmetry axes and 6 pentagonal ghost symmetry axes.
A Zometool model has been constructed for the first time in 2005 (David Richter).
In the present vZome model, teal balls connecting half-blue struts avoid bending blue struts over each other. These crossings appear in tree flavours: a b2 would have to be bent either over a b1, another b2, or a b3.
