Tested by actual builds. All intersecting blues replaced by connected half-blues.

The physical construction of this Stellation of the Icosahedron illustrates the third technique to bypass the Zometool impossibility of connection multiple struts into the same hole. Now shortened struts connect to a hub with multiple input holes and one single output pin.

Also known as the Final or Complete Stellation of the Icosahedron. It is actualy build here with standard blue Zometool struts and 3D printed modified g2 struts.

Some vZome models cannot be realized with Zometool, as that would require the ability to put the tips of multiple struts into the same hole of a connector. This model shows a first technique, 3D printing of modified struts, to bypass this problem.

An overview of all fully supported stellations of the rhombic triacontahedron. All corresponding Zometool models can be build. In this post, no step-by-step instructions are provided for.

Of the famous fifty-nine icosahedra, seventeen stellations are fully supported. For only eight of then, Zometool models can be build. Two models cover all eight, using blue, green and half-green struts.
